PodSpot #13 - Are you getting the most out of Hubspot?

In episode thirteen of PodSpot, the unofficial UK HubSpot podcast, we bring you a conversation between Kerry Thompson and Jon Pittham of Karman Digital. Together they discuss how some HubSpot users aren’t utilising HubSpot to its fullest potential, and how that can change.

Kerry and Jon start this conversation by talking about the importance of taking full advantage of your HubSpot subscription. They discuss the worthwhile challenge of adopting new processes and the long-term benefits of devoting the appropriate time and resources to the opportunities that HubSpot offers.

From there they discuss how there can be frustration within a business when that which has been paid for isn’t being utilised, as well as other tell-tale signs that there is still potential to be tapped from HubSpot. Jon covers how the conversations surrounding underutilisation arise between clients and agencies, and the usefulness of discovery sessions for getting to the heart of the problem. Kerry goes on to express how different capabilities and functions of HubSpot can be overlooked due to the platform’s nature of consistently evolving and developing new tools, and questions the implications of not using the platform fully. This leads to a discussion of why some businesses may choose to cancel their subscription, and how that may not be the right choice.

They discuss which individual hubs and tools are most often left with their potential untapped and the value that partner agencies are uniquely positioned to provide to HubSpot users. Finally, they end their conversation with Kerry asking Jon for resources and recommendations for those who are eager to get the most out of HubSpot software (to which Jon duly responds!).
