Why user stories are key to value-driven solutions

We're all about whipping up HubSpot solutions that help our clients thrive. But the secret to getting it just right? User stories. They might sound like a faff, but they're an excellent tool that keeps everyone on the same page and aligned to the end goal. This way, it’s much easier to understand what success looks like and work collaboratively throughout projects.

So, what are user stories?

Think of them as a quick and easy tale told from your point of view. Whether it’s an internal story around creating a clearer process for progressing leads, or refining your target audience as a business, user stories prioritise features based on customer impact and value, ensuring you get the most value from HubSpot.
Stories carry power in their relatability. Being able to  display real benefit and value to teams and people, it becomes clear for us to illustrate how we achieve that outcome and get creative about the route we take. 

Here's a basic recipe:
As a [user type], I want to [action] so that [benefit].

For instance:

I want to effortlessly sort my email list by what folks have bought before, so I can create targeted campaigns that get more people saying "yes please!"
